Man dies in Morrinsville train collision
A man has died after he was struck by a train in the Waikato town of Morrinsville last night.
Police said the 33-year-old local man was hit by an eastbound train near Lorne Street, about 11.15pm.
The line was closed for two hours as police recovered the body and examined the scene.
The death has been referred to the coroner.
