Four car crash near Matamata
A four-car collision on State Highway 29 near Matamata this morning has left one person injured.
The crash near Hinuera quarry happened shortly after 7am in foggy conditions.
A middle-aged man had to be cut from one of the four vehicles and was taken to hospital.
The occupants of three other vehicles involved were uninjured.
The road was closed for a short while but is now open.
