Craig Wayne Matthews wanted by police

Patched Rebels gang member Craig Wayne Matthews is still on the run from Wanganui police after failing to appear in court at Palmerston North for sentencing on drugs, money laundering and receiving charges.

Matthews was on electronic bail. On September 21 he left Wanganui at 8.10am to travel to Palmerston North and his monitored anklet was deactivated. It was to be reactivated at 5pm.

The 37-year-old is 184cm/6-foot tall, solidly built and heavily tattooed all over his body including the sides of his neck. Matthews was a former president of the Tribesmen.

He has contacts in Wanganui, Otaki, Levin, Palmerston North, Hamilton, Auckland, Whangarei and Kaitaia.
